MAEDCHEN FEIERABEND

 

Chronology:

Maedchen Feierabend (1919-1943)

Maedchen Feierabend was only 16 when she was chosen for the female main role in Wolfgang Schenk´s play/cabaret/musical Wissenschack. She had a beautiful alt voice with a special sense for der dramatisch.
She was accidentally murdered in her home in Berlin by Waffen-SS in 1939.
Her younger brother Dieter, friend with Joaquin Munoz, later moved to Boston where he wrote a novel inspired by the death of his sister: The Wrong Person´s Guide to National Treachery was published in 1972 by One Dollar Books in Newark.
Dieter Feierabend is now an established writer and lives in Harrison.
